As an Alternative Provision our admissions arrangements are different from a standard school or academy. Placements at Lodestar are available in the following situations

Permanently Excluded Students:

Permanently excluded students between Year 1 and Year 11 may be admitted to Lodestar if they are permanently excluded from a Maintained School upon receipt of a referral from their County Council admissions team through The Engage Trust.

Children Missing Education:

Any Child Missing Education can be admitted to Lodestar upon receipt of a completed Referral from the County Council Admissions Team or (in the case of young people who hold a Statement of SEN or EHCP) from the relevant Additional Needs Co-ordinator, through The Engage Trust.

Referrals are not accepted from other parties.

Admission is subject to prior assessment to determine placement suitability.
